DTS excels at helping our clients respond to daunting challenges related to program management/governance, strategic planning/organizational advancement, business process efficiency, and learning enhancement.

    DTS is looking for an Instructional Designer to provide both online (eLearning) and instructor led training. This role works directly with clients to develop and implement innovative training programs to support their technical learning objectives. We will count on you to develop alliances and work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and industry professionals to develop course content and learning elements, as well as ensure content accuracy and appropriateness

    In this capacity, you will support content conversion and development of materials, manage and coordinate the review process to ensure content accuracy, write content for Web-based training with the help of SMEs, and collaborate with a graphics team to take the courseware to an electronic format

    This individual should be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization, identify and suggest new processes and ideas, demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail, meet deadlines, work independently when required, and work well with others demonstrating the highest levels of customer service.

    A background in Instructional System Design (ISD) is preferred; skills in teaching, coaching, or mentoring are required. We’re looking for individuals able to learn new subjects quickly, write and communicate with great effectiveness, and bring an inventive/consultative approach to the challenge. A BS/BA degree is preferred in English/Journalism or Education/Instructional Design/eLearning. Federal government experience is a plus.

    Familiarity with Adobe Captivate or the ability to quickly learn to develop courses in Adobe Captivate is a must. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or tools like Camtasia Studio are a plus.
